Symlink Management

Create and manage symbolic links for sharing mods, resource packs, and shaders between installations or linking to external folders.

Create Symlinks Link content folders to external locations. Perfect for syncing mods via Dropbox or pointing to a network drive.

Per-Installation & Global Links Create symlinks for specific installations or globally for all. Link mods/ to a shared folder to save disk space.

Symlink Validation Automatic checking for broken links (target deleted/moved). Warnings appear with one-click fix options.

Toggle Symlinks Enable or disable symlinks without deleting them. Useful for temporarily using local content instead of linked.

Path Display Full source and destination paths shown with copy-to-clipboard buttons. Verify links point to correct locations.

Auto-Refresh Symlinks automatically update when installations change. No manual re-linking needed when moving game directories.

Symlinks require administrator privileges on Windows. Kable will prompt for elevation when creating links.
