Resource Packs

Customize Minecraft's textures and sounds with resource packs.

Transform Minecraft's visual and audio experience with resource packs. Change textures, models, sounds, music, fonts, and more without modifying game code.

Resource packs can be layered! Higher packs in the list override lower ones, letting you mix textures from multiple packs.

Resource Packs Manager (Installed)

Manage installed resource packs with drag-and-drop ordering, preview thumbnails, and instant enable/disable toggles.

Per-Installation & Global Packs Choose whether packs are installation-specific or shared globally. Global packs save disk space, per-installation packs prevent conflicts.
Pack Ordering Drag packs to reorder priority. Top packs override bottom packs—perfect for combining textures from multiple packs.
Pack Information View name, version, pack format, resolution (16x, 32x, 64x, etc.), file size, and compatibility with your Minecraft version.
Pack Preview Thumbnails Visual previews extracted from pack.png for instant identification. No more guessing which pack is which!
Enable/Disable Toggle Test packs individually by toggling them on/off. Disabled packs moved to disabled/ folder automatically.
Resolution Detection Automatically detect pack resolution and warn if your GPU may struggle with high-res textures (512x+).

High-resolution packs (128x and above) require significantly more VRAM. Use 64x or lower on systems with less than 4GB VRAM.

Most resource packs work across multiple Minecraft versions! Pack format changes are rare, so a 1.19 pack often works fine in 1.21.
